The fundraising playbook wasn't written for most of us. So I wrote a new one.
I'm Allison Byers, founder of Scroobious, co-author of California's Fair Investment Practices by Venture Capital Companies Act, and the person behind Fundraising for The Rest of Us. I help founders raise capital on their own terms.

Fundraising for The Rest of Us
Whether you're a first-time founder, outside the traditional VC network, or building something that doesn't fit the Silicon Valley mold: this is your guide to raising capital on your own terms.
Hi, I'm Allison.
I'm the Founder & CEO of Scroobious, a relationship-first capital access platform. I've spent years studying how funding really works, and more importantly, how it fails the people it should serve.
I co-authored California's Fair Investment Practices by Venture Capital Companies Act, the first legislation requiring VC firms to disclose demographic data on funding allocation. I wrote a book about fundraising for the founders the system wasn't built for. And I speak to accelerators, universities, and investor groups about what it takes to actually change who gets funded.
